In November, we're thrilled to present three of the best examples of P2 in North America! The Core Values Award winners from 2016 for Organization of the Year and Research Project of the Year.

The British Columbia Ministry of Health won Organization of the Year in Canada for its efforts to improve health care by better educating patients and bringing them into the conversation throughout the treatment process. Shannon Holms will describe how the "Patients as Partners" program is proving effective.

The City of Hillsboro, Oregon, set out to develop the long-term plans for its community by reaching out in a variety of ways to find out the dreams and aspirations of its own people. Chris Hartye will share how "Hillsboro 2035" met its objectives – and won the award for Organization of the Year from IAP2 USA.

One of the biggest problems in health care in general is error in diagnosis either misdiagnosis or missed-diagnosis. It can lead to incorrect treatment, death and suffering in various forms all around. The Jefferson Center and the Maxwell School of Public Affairs at Syracuse University teamed up to try to diagnose the root of this problem and prescribe a cure. For that, they were awarded Research Project of the Year from IAP2 USA. Find out more, by taking part in this webinar.
