Josh Stepherson is passionate about connecting with people and advancing projects that benefit the community. He brings more than 20 years of experience working with organizations in the Pacific Northwest to implement comprehensive and equity-focused approaches to public involvement that build broad understanding, ensure meaningful participation, and enable community-centered decision-making.

Josh is the founder and principal of Stepherson & Associates Communications, a minority-owned public engagement firm located in Seattle. Established in 2007, S&A specializes in working with public agencies, planners, designers, and builders to involve communities in projects that will affect them. His work also focuses on mentoring and outreach to disadvantaged, minority- and women-owned business enterprises (DBE/MWBE) in the Northwest to support their long-term capacity and inclusion in public projects.

Josh is a board member of the IAP2 Puget Sound Chapter and served as Sponsorship Chair for the IAP2 2021 North America Conference.
