Intentional Creativity: Framing the Future of the Roundhouse

Description:

Connect the Dots received the IAP2 USA Core Values Award for Creativity & Innovation for the project Framing the Future of the Roundhouse, which was an innovative and trauma-informed community engagement process for the redevelopment of the former Philadelphia Police Headquarters, gathering key insights and recommendations that will shape the future Request for Proposal, ensuring community voices guide the process.

Members of the project team will share how using layered engagement invited participants to participate in verbal, tactile, digital, and collaborative formats. This presentation will invite attendees to discuss the ways in which creative tactics have been successful in engaging with the public. Attendees will have an opportunity to share from their own experiences, with hopes all attendees leave feeling inspired to incorporate new creative ideas into their engagement practice!
