IAP2 Northeast Chapter – January 2024 Idea Hub: DEI and Community Engagement

Join IAP2 Northeast for our next Idea Hub, a conversation focused on the role of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in community engagement, on Thursday, January 23, at 3:00 PM.

Joining us will be Cathy L. Draine, the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the City of Everett, Massachusetts. The Idea Hub will focus on how engagement professionals have and can continue to partner with DEI offices in government, non-profits, and the private sector to enhance community outreach.

About the Presenter
Cathy L. Draine is the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the City of Everett, Massachusetts. Her professional interests and acumen centers in building systems that create the opportunities for people to thrive, particularly those who are most vulnerable in
society. The Tennessee native holds a Bachelor’s degree in History (Hollins University), a Master’s Degree in Cultural Production (Brandeis University), and a Master’s Degree in Theatre Education with a focus on Theatre in Community (Emerson College).
