Grab your coffee and join IAP2 Northeast for an interactive discussion on Indigenous Engagement on March 22!
Indigenous engagement is a public participation hot topic around the nation and globally. What is the state of engagement in New England today, and how can your organization do better? What can you do to enhance your cultural sensitivity? Are there any great tools out there that we can think about adding to our engagement toolbelt? We’ll talk about these questions and more as we explore ways to work with indigenous communities.
Danielle Karahkwison Oakes, New England Indigenous Communities Liaison with National Grid, will lead an engaging discussion, giving insight into her role at National Grid and the tools she’s using to get this important work done. Danielle has long relationships with indigenous communities in New England, and is working to give these communities a voice in the clean energy transition. We hope you’ll join us to hear her perspective on community engagement!
