IAP2 USA Greater LA: ELGL Learning Event

  • September 23, 2019
  • 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM (PDT)
  • PlaceWorks in DTLA - 700 S Flower St, Los Angeles, CA 90017

This event is open to everyone. ELGL membership is NOT required to attend.

The Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) network is hosting a series of local government learning opportunities this fall, and you are invited to attend the event the Davenport Institute is partnering with ELGL on in Los Angeles.

The lunchtime session is on “Technology and Public Engagement” and is a combination of a panel and workshop to help local governments be strategic in online engagement.

This event is part of a global effort to connect local government leaders around meaningful and important topics that are relevant in our public service work.

During the week of September 23-27, 2019, ELGL will host 25 learning sessions across the United States and even in London, England!

This education series is called the #ELGLRoadTrip and while you’ll hopefully attend the event we’re planning in Los Angeles, we also want to make sure that you feel connected to the larger ELGL community during that week as we’re sharing what we’re learning with each other from every location.

ELGL is hosting #ELGLRoadTrip sessions in so many locations because the organization believes that high quality local government training shouldn’t require a huge training and travel budget. By tapping into the wisdom and energy of ELGL members, the sessions will cover everything from leadership, to data, to process improvement (and everything in between).

And if you’re not yet an ELGL member, you can sign up for a one year membership when you reserve your #ELGLRoadTrip ticket. You can learn more about all 25 #ELGLRoadTrip sessions at ELGL.org/Road-Trip.

We look forward to seeing you on September 23!

Tickets are still available here. Tickets include lunch from Mendocino Farms.
