"Diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance." - Verna Myers
As public participation practitioners, we are continuously seeking better and more effective ways to ensure the audiences we are engaging truly reflect the communities we seek to empower. Crafting effective community engagement plans require us to be intentional about addressing topics of racial inequalities, socio-economic disparities and implicit biases in our communities. It also requires us to be able to communicate the benefits of tackling these sensitive topics with leadership. This workshop aims to provide you with practical tools to move past diversity and focus more on inclusion.
Bios of presenters and Agenda will be added soon.
