Amber Nelson is the founder and president of Lingo Consulting, Inc., a company dedicated to helping individuals and organizations learn and leverage their lingo. A writer, speaker, and consultant, Amber shares her approach to the business of language and the language of business with professionals across all sectors. She delivers compelling keynote addresses, moderates panels, and conducts workshops and training on leadership and communication for clients such as the American Marketing Association, Boston University, Digital Hollywood and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. As a research, communications and marketing expert, Amber builds custom, targeted marketing solutions, moderates focus groups and ethnographies, writes and edits a wide array of materials for clients including Transamerica, Kaiser Permanente, General Mills, The American Heart Association, United Way, The Society of Financial Service Professionals and more. Amber publishes a weekly communications blog called The Lingo-ist and is a certified trainer for Take the Lead, a global organization dedicated to paycheck parity at all levels across all sectors. She holds a degree in Journalism from Boston University and lives in La Canada, CA.
