The IAP2 USA (Emerging) Los Angeles Chapter will be gathering at the San Gabriel Basin Water Quality Authority this month.

The Water Quality Authority (WQA) was established in 1993 to develop, finance and implement groundwater treatment programs in the San Gabriel Basin. The San Gabriel Basin includes six Superfund sites including Puente Valley, the largest Superfund site in the United States for which Northrup Grumman is responsible. As reported this past July, Northrup Grumman has finally reached an agreement with the WQA and construction of the treatment facility will begin in 2017, be completed in 2018 and begin operating in 2019. How has the WQA been engaging the public through this process?

Come hear about it from WQA’s executive director, Ken Manning, along with Bob Morales, their P2 Pro!
