  • May 25, 2016
  • 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM (PDT)
  • LAX Coastal Chamber, 9100 S Sepulveda, Suite 208, Los Angeles, CA 90045

May's meeting of the Emerging Los Angeles Chapter of the International Association for Public Participation USA (IAP2 USA) offers a conversation about civic engagement around the difficult issue of police violence.

Join us to learn from Scott Woodhill, of Woodhill Solutions, and his colleague, a captain of the LAPD. They will be speaking about how the Institute for Nonviolence in Los Angeles (INVLA), through its Days of Dialogue program, has planned and successfully held large-scale dialogues throughout Los Angeles County on the “Future of Policing” in the past year, marking the 50th Anniversary of the Watts Rebellion.

Lunch will be provided by Kit Cole Consulting. Please RSVP to assist in ordering. Thank you!

The Coastal Chamber location offers ample free parking.
