Essential, Versatile Facilitation Tools
Presented by L. Melanie Chase, Chase Solutions
We meticulously plan all the details of large public meetings, from agendas and technical content to ensuring an engaging experience for participants. But what happens when the meetings don’t go exactly as planned? As the meeting facilitator, you can learn to shift gears on the fly and without preparation to introduce alternative facilitation processes and paths toward solutions that meet the needs of the group. Experience and practice a few essential and versatile facilitation tools/methods that are ready when you are.
Melanie has worked with diverse groups and organizations across sectors as an organization development/performance improvement consultant, coach/advisor, trainer and facilitator since 1996. She holds a Ph.D. in education with a concentration in organizational development, M.P.A., and a B.S. in sociology, from Colorado and Arizona State Universities, respectively.
Please RSVP to Stefanie Slyman at firstname.lastname@example.org by May 13.
Due to construction on the Sellwood Bridge, please allow extra time or take a route other than Macadam Avenue.
Join us afterward for networking and fun at the Buffalo Gap, 6835 SW Macadam Ave. (at California Street).
